Pros

Great experience, proud to have been an employee with GP for over 11 years.

Cons

More formalized training would have been helpful in our group.

Pros

Collaborative culture focused on creating the most value for the company, consumer, and community. Fellow employees are great to work with and genuinely care about you. Market Base Management is put into practice not just a values system that is displayed on the wall.

Cons

Only real complaint is a lack of training at times. I would have liked to been exposed to a more structured training program that provided guidance for keep job functions.

Pros

Very Ethical and safe company. They focus on always working safely in the mills as well as great benefits and great pay.

Cons

In Management, they tend to have high turnover rate due to over-working all the employees. The mill I worked at was under-staffed and every person took on at least 3 roles. While I was there I worked as a a manager, Line supervisor, Safety coordinator, and team leader for 2 different internal groups.
