      Georgia Pacific is always changing.

      Pros

      Learned a lot; got explosed to many new situations. Some divisions more progressive than other divisions. Company knows how to make money even in tough business climate.

      Cons

      Looks like reorganizations take place every 2 -3 years to constantly weed out "C-players" and try and fill them with "A-players".

      Pros

      The pay is decent, there are alot of nice people to work with, and potential for advancement or job-changing after a while

      Cons

      The interview and job offer were extremely misleading and deceiving. The offer and insight they provided me before accepting the position has only turned out to be about 20% true.

      Pros

      Convenient location from the MARTA downtown ATL. Nice views from the building.

      Cons

      There is no long term strategy for people retention. It is all about the bottom line. Priorities change often, and they do not understand how to generate value through brands. If you join do not keep any personal items in your office they are notorious for asking you to leave immediately without any previous notice or cause.
