Cons

- Flat organizational structure leaves less title promotions - Managers focus more on engineering work and people management - Little recognition from superiors - Requires independence and being a self-starter to thrive here - Lack of overall company standards / structure. - Low company morale

Pros

I need to say 5 words here

Cons

***IF YOU LIVE IN SAN DIEGO AVOID THIS PLACE *** - The recruiters of various companies like Prime will outright lie to candidates about conversion timelines to GTRI. They will call you and tell you it’s 6 months to convert to GTRI like a carrot on a stick. What they don’t tell you is that AFTER 6 months GTRI will “consider” starting the process of hiring you. - GTRI conversion could take up to 2 years! (Yes, I work with two individuals on my project that took two years to convert to GTRI). So why do they tell you 6 months over the phone? To string you along just long enough to get their 6 month contract from the state of Georgia. - GTRI themselves know the proceeds to convert takes way too long, so the “c level executive” has been known to say: “don’t tell the candidates how long it takes to convert!” - The program I worked to support had nothing short of a “hostile work environment”. I personally watched multiple people fired and walked off site, We even had an active shooter threat situation which wasn’t addressed until NCIS got involved.
