Pros

There is plenty of room for advancement if you are proactive. There is a heavy emphasis on learning and development, which is great early in a career. I have grown a tremendous amount in the short amount of time I have worked here.

Cons

Salaries are a bit lower than what you find in private sector companies. Working for DOD contracts on almost every project can make you feel a bit like a war profiteer.

Pros

Contract Research is always something different.

Cons

Pay raises controlled by Board of regents, so even though the company is doing great, no one has any raises for several years.
