Pros

Great interdisciplinary research. I regularly work with, take classes from, and get advice from professors in many different areas. They really work well together as a university system (even across GT and Emory)

Cons

Doesn't give health insurance to graduate students like some universities. They do offer it to you a discounted rate as a student, but still. With a family, we're probably going on Medicaid.

Pros

Georgia Tech is a highly ranked engineering school. It has excellent collaboration among faculty and students, and everyone is very friendly and happy to help.

Cons

Georgia Tech is an extremely challenging environment which may cause stress to students and researchers. Some Principal Investigators are also very hard on their students.
