We’re sorry that you feel that way. Geritom does it’s best to give every employee opportunities based on their performance and attitude, which certainly isn't "favoritism". Our experience with this individual is they had several disciplinary write ups with attitude issues to other coworkers, posted mean/bullying comments to coworkers on social media that spilled into the workplace, believed that the company conduct policies did not apply to them, and denied any wrongdoing despite evidence stating otherwise. This individual was given multiple opportunities to be "pulled aside to fix an issue." The only "failings" were those of this individual.
Geritom spends considerable time and effort cultivating a positive work environment and when we have an employee who is either not capable or not willing to be nice to coworkers, a change must be made after several written warnings. As a result, this individual was terminated.
After speaking with Sofia Miller, Glassdoor content and Community team member, she stated that glassdoor reviews "are a neutral forum for the content submitted by our users, not a news organization. So it is not our role to investigate and fact check each statement in a review" and "aren't suited to determine the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of evidence offered to us by someone."
Unfortunately every company will have someone who’s disgruntled about something, regardless of the validity. Even so, we wish them well in their future endeavors.
