      Pros

      Opportunities abound. People are wonderful. Benefits are the best I've had. Generous bonus structure.

      Cons

      Tribal knowledge leads to lack of process. Slow to change in a fast changing environment. Toxic C suite that plays clear favorites and hires friends and family.

      Pros

      Since joining with NGV, National Grid Renewables has seen a lot of growth. Previous values and culture have merged nicely with the parent company's. Inclusion and diversity is a priority and the leadership continues to learn and be active in this goal. There's been a greater emphasis on work/life balance, mental health, and work style flexibility. Benefits are great.

      Cons

      Since joining with NGV, National Grid Renewables has seen a lot of growth. There's been a lot of effort to scale previous processes but ultimately they are redundant or inefficient. Departments have grown, new departments have been created but cohesion has lagged. Pay is alright. Big bonuses every year but highly taxed. I'd rather see that bonus in my salary.

      Pros

      Company cares about you, the benefits, pay, bonus plan but also just the general way they treat their employees is something that has been lost in most companies for a long time. Still do company retreats, send out personalized holiday gifts, you know the people you work with and it matters

      Cons

      There are some old school views on flexibility, while they say they are flexible, and they want to be, they are still working out how to actually be ok with not seeing people they work with. It comes from a good place and being a family but they need to enter 2021
