Pros

international company, brilliant brand, nice people, strive for excellence, personal development opportunities.

Cons

Unfortunatly not the case anymore since 2012 (new investors) : no deep marketing vison, no consistency in decision making, no good Exec leaders, less personnal opportunities. Basically the company is getting more political and less efficient from the inside. What a pity...

Great people but no real leadership

Pros

The people that work at Getty Images are passionate and are absolutely great to work with. People really make this company what they are.

Cons

Management is very institutionalized, as a lot of them have been around for over 10 years. There is no investment in their employees, especially if you not in the EMEA or US offices. Favouritism was absolutely apparent, and it was breed from the top.

Pros

- Work life balance - Great culture that isn't too stuffy,

Cons

- Claims to value no silos and then clearly defines them just about everywhere - Passive aggressive backstabbing becomes more frequent the closer to the CEO you get - Claims to have embraced LEAN Agile as a whole but actually abuses it in order to set their devs on death marches with little wiggle room for scope or deadline negotiation based on SWAGs (Silly Wild Ass Guesstimates) whenever it's convenient - Multiple "Highest Priority" projects all fighting for the same resources time. - Purchases possibly the worst combination of internal tools for their employees. They are so bad they actually negatively affect our productivity.
