Pros

A huge brand with global recognition. Opportunity to work across a number of different products. Good people.

Cons

Hard to progress as many of the senior people staying still, could be more dynamic. In need of real leadership if is going to weather current storm.

Pros

Widely considered to be the biggest and the best photo agency in the world Positive working environment, most employees stay a long time Good employee benefits: BUPA healthcare, staff discounts, pensions, insurance etc. Well resourced in terms of technology, staff support and learning Stability. While the photo industry is in a state of upheaval, Getty continues to go from strength to strength and there are few redundancies when compared to our clients and competitors

Cons

Gaining promotions can be tricky, with lots of talented, hard working and long serving staff in all directions Wages are not great, considered solid if unspectacular. Quite afew media professionals have been discouraged from joining Getty as pay is better elsewhere in the industry

Pros

Work life balance Good branding, good products Colleagues are generally nice

Cons

If you do NOT mind changes throughout the year, join Getty. If you can work in a company whereby there is restructuring & retrenchment every year, join Getty. If you can accept instability in job because no one is indispensable, join Getty. Getty is all about changes. You have a choice.
