Pros

Great benefits. Cool product. Strong brand recognition; known for best in market.

Cons

Company hasn't quite figured out how to grow in the changing digital market. I was surprised that a company of their size had such outdated technology and processes. It made day to day job harder than it needed to be. They are working to improve in this area. LOTS of restructuring and constant change.

Pros

Caring co-workers, good management, allowing flexibility with schedules and excellent 'paid time off' package. Great talent within the company. The overall environment is welcoming and comfortable

Cons

Fearful of layoffs, and I thought I'd be OK, but I guess not.

Pros

There is so much love and investment in their photographers and contributors, and they take pride in representing the most creative and beautiful photography in the industry, in both the editorial and creative space. Currently their industry leader, they're always trying to be ahead of the curve and pride themselves as a creative company. In past years employee retention was great. The office is modern and the people are generally nice and trustworthy.

Cons

This is an incredibly competitive industry and the culture has gone through a massive shift, moving from a positive, entrepreneurial environment where sales people are encouraged to succeed and own their accounts, to a regimented, tightly monitored culture full of strict adherence to a specific workflow and almost no room to move up. Every role is closely micromanaged which creates a strong sense of distrust and lack of confidence in employees. If you like the crank it out, cold call environment, this may be the right place for you. If you are interested in a higher-level of sales where quality work and relationship building take the lead, you will not find your place here. No room to grow or move up Employees have no voice or impact Upper management doesn't listen to their employees; bad decisions are made at the top with zero input from those that will actualize the changes and understand the impact and foresee issues, and no opportunity for a conversation on how to improve after changes are implemented.
