This is an incredibly competitive industry and the culture has gone through a massive shift, moving from a positive, entrepreneurial environment where sales people are encouraged to succeed and own their accounts, to a regimented, tightly monitored culture full of strict adherence to a specific workflow and almost no room to move up. Every role is closely micromanaged which creates a strong sense of distrust and lack of confidence in employees.
