Pros

Great place to work that fosters a connected work environment! Top to bottom, all employees are valued the same and very much involved in growing the business. Customer and employee feedback is taken seriously and often leads to effective changes where applicable.

Cons

Information overload at times. Consistent changes means there is always something new to learn.

Hello and thank you for sharing a review on Glassdoor. We strive to be one of the greatest places that you will ever work, and employee feedback is paramount to improving our processes and interactions. As such and to your second point, we have hired a Knowledge Management Team to consolidate information on our intranet sites to create clear messaging and concise information as best we can. With some more recent company changes, such as going public, there is a ton of information and announcements that we choose to share with employees due to the transparent environment our GLT is committed to. While this can be overwhelming at times, the intention is for you to feel as connected as possible. If you would ever like to chat with your HR Business Partner to gain more clarity, I encourage you to do so. Please also feel free to reach out to me at carly.etzin@gettyimages.com. Thank you!

Thank you for posting a review on Glassdoor. With our recent announcement around going public and the investment in the long-term, there is a ton of opportunity for all employees to grow and develop with the organization. We seek to hire the best and our commitment to operating in a hybrid environment may result in hiring full-time remote employees. To help establish connections, we have recently launched a new hires slack channel, promote Donut meet-ups weekly, encourage employees to participate in ERGs and extra-curriculars that the organization offers, and have virtual office events that are posted to local slack channels. Functions also have morale spend to host team-building events. If you are inclined, I encourage you to connect with your manager to find out more and see if there are any opportunities for you to plan an event! If you have any additional questions or feedback, please reach out to me at carly.etzin@gettyimages.com. Thanks and take care!

So far a Good Company

Pros

- Great healthcare benefits - Flexible hybrid work arrangements - Respectful and supportive workplace culture - Most of the staff are friendly and helpful - Senior leadership communicates their intentions and show that they're willing to make changes - Proud of the world-class visual content

Cons

- Base pay could improve to be more competitive - Very US-centric (small regions have fewer resources (for staff & customers)/exposure/speaking power/ discount than the larger regions) - Big improvements are required on DEI, agreed with the other peer mentioned about need more to be done than to be said, as even manager grades are not adapting to this company's mission - Claimed work-life balance but most of the staff are working overtime caused by lack of staff, over workload, or long hiring progress, etc. And always have non-office hours (before/ after work and lunch hour) meetings. - Due to lack of/ miscommunication, promotions arrangements are up to individual managers' personal understanding instead of a clear guideline.

Hello, thank you for reviewing your experience as a Getty Images employee! I am so happy to hear you feel there are so many positive aspects to working here. We work hard to ensure we offer competitive benefits, a good work-life balance, and creating a respectful, supportive culture. Given that we are a global company who is headquartered out of the United States, we do our best to think and operate with that global mindset. There is always room for growth and opportunity to do better. If you do have feedback or ways that we can improve, I encourage you to share with your manager, leader, or HR Business Partner. In addition, we are conducting a company-wide benchmarking initiative to review all of our pay structures and ensure that folks are being paid fairly and to market. This includes, but is not limited to, also mapping out clear career progression and levels for every role and function so that the promotion path is transparent. If you have any additional feedback that you would like to share, please reach out to me at sarah.dudley@gettyimages.com!
