Pros

Benefits - The first thing is the company benefits are very attractive. The insurance is the coverage of almost everything like dental, checkups, physiotherapy, psychology therapy, vaccines, etc. Professional Development – There are a lot of professional development opportunities at Getty Images. I have been joining many leadership programs and cross-functional training. It helps the employee to understand deeper about themselves and see their potential to contribute to the company and grow in their career path. Company Culture – The leaders are very transparent and allow you to raise your problem, suggestions, and idea to improve things in the company. They do not just listen, but they take your idea seriously. I must say that we have a vibrant and strong culture here at Getty Images. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging – We value D&I and apply D&I to our day-to-day work to build a more inclusive workforce. We can be ourselves and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds, genders, and nationalities.

Cons

We are a Hybrid workplace, so we spend a lot of time on Zoom meetings. Especially, if you are in a small branch, the chance is low of meeting your colleagues.

Hi! Thank you for your contributions over the past 5-7 years. During a pandemic and a time where healthcare coverage is so important, it is great to hear that your experience with our benefits package has been positive. We strive to offer as comprehensive of a plan as possible to support our employees and their dependents. Further, through trainings and initiatives led by the HR and Culture and Development Team, we have built on our culture to be as inclusive as possible. For example, we recently launched a Introduction to Pronouns, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression WorkRamp Learning Guide as well as a secondary resource on Supporting Transgender and Gender Non-Binary Colleagues. This resource is intended to provide tangible tools and practices related to affirming and supporting transgender and gender non-binary people as we reflect and build an intentionally inclusive workplace for ourselves and our colleagues. There is always room for continuous growth and improvement, which we are dedicated to. Because of the collaborative community that is Getty Images, feedback around time spent on Zoom meetings has been shared. The intention is for folks to stay connected. However, I encourage you to turn off your camera if you feel burnt out and also take advantage of our monthly Zoom Free Wednesdays. If you have any other feedback that you would like to share, please reach out to me at carly.etzin@gettyimages.com. Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for your review. I am happy to hear you are enjoying the aspect of working for a global company, feel that the culture is inclusive and collaborative, and that your work is positively impacting the organization. Career development is top of mind for many employees who wish to continue to grow and develop within their role. As such, the HR team is partnering with Compensation and functional Leadership to map out transparent career ladders so that employees can have transparent conversations around what growth looks like and how to achieve promotions and moving to the next level. However, development is not just moving into the next level, but also exemplifying the leadership principles, strengthening interpersonal skills and cross-collaborative abilities, participating in leadership trainings and learning how to influence on your team. As you continue to look ahead to other opportunities, I encourage you to explore these other aspects with your manager and HR Business Partner. You can also always reach out to me at carly.etzin@gettyimages.com. Thank you!
