Pros

Getty is a great place to work. From the top to the bottom it's a solid company across the board. Great colleagues across all platforms with competitive benefits and a good work/life balance.

Cons

Every job and company isn't perfect and Getty falls into that category but the upside is your voice is heard when you have a "bring solutions" attitude to the table.

Hi there! Thank for for taking the time to post a review and for all of your contributions to our company. It is rewarding to hear that you enjoy working at Getty Images - and have had a positive experience with your team and with our total rewards offerings (work/life balance, benefits, etc). What you shared is exactly true - no company is perfect and there is always room for improvement and to do better. How we are able to achieve this is by being open, transparent, listening to feedback, and taking it into consideration when making decisions. I hope you will continue to share your experiences, solutions, and ways that we can continue to improve so that we will always be one of the best places you will ever work! If you ever need anything, please feel free to reach out to your manager, HR Business Partner, or myself at carly.etzin@gettyimages.com. Thanks and take care!

Pros

The main reason I enjoy working at GettyImages is due to the positive work culture, great colleagues and interesting projects. I can really feel the commitment the company puts into Diversity and Inclusion by promoting different experiences, backgrounds and respect. Positive work culture includes the collaborative mindset, support and fun I get from my immediate teams and the company. Healthcare benefits are great, my professional development is top of mind, work / life balance is promoted and diversity, equity, and inclusion is top of mind for the whole company. I started working in a remote setting and I can honestly say that I feel like I am part of a team no matter where anyone I work with is located. I feel fulfilled in my role and have been able to grow as a mentor and promote research through the company. I have had the opportunity to help build out the team as well attend conferences, workshops and educational classes that promote my professional development goals. Projects are always discussed with me and I am able to discuss and take on the ones that would meet my needs due to interest and time.

Cons

I have experienced impactful professional development and opportunities within the Product team but I have heard through the grapevine that other departments don't have as many opportunities. I don't have many details on those departments but I do know professional development is a key area the company is improving on and is put in the forefront of each department and managers minds.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and thoughts. We strive to be the greatest place you will ever work and it is extremely positive to hear your perspective on our work culture, collaborative community of employees, and demonstration of our Leadership Principles. Professional growth and development is top of mind for many employees. As such, we have implemented quarterly check ins so that all employees have 4 formal opportunities to have discussions around growth outside of the informal 1:1s that occur throughout the year. Further, the HR team, in partnership with functional leaders is building career ladders and job descriptions for every team and function so that there is increased transparency around development. This will be introduced formally to the business in Q4 2022 / Q1 2023 and will build on our commitment for continuous opportunities for all employees. More to come and we look forward to you being a part of this journey! If you have any additional feedback that you wish to share, please reach out to me at carly.etzin@gettyimages.com. Thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing a Glassdoor review and for your hard work and impact at Getty Images over the past 8-10 years. We have an extraordinary Culture and Development team who build and create a ton of development resources - both technical and interpersonal. Some of which include Diversity & Inclusion trainings on Work Ramp and led by our D&I trainers, technical trainings on Udemy and Work Ramp, People Manager sessions, and more! Within our HR team, we also have a global Benefits Team who works diligently to ensure we are offering as comprehensive and supportive benefits as possible. We have made many changes to our offerings over the past two years in many countries. If you would like to learn more, I encourage you to reach out to our benefits team at benefits@gettyimages.com or check out the global benefits site on our Mixer page! If you have additional questions, you can also reach out to me at carly.etzin@gettyimages.com. Thank you!
