It is discouraging that your viewpoint is that Getty Images does not promote from within, as we have two promotion cycles per year, along with formal quarterly check-ins and weekly employee/manager 1:1s. Between April and October 2021, we celebrated over 50+ employee promotions. Pros

Many people don't consider Getty Images as a Tech company but we are! Our Tech stack is exciting and interesting from an engineering perspective. I have always found the company to be great but recently the company has invested more into employees and how HR is interacting with employees and making things better. About 6 months ago they hired a new HR person for the technology group. He has already made deep impacts on tech employees experience at Getty. It is very nice to see HR as part of the team versus being the big bad in the company. HR has transformed to a very positive force. You don't see that everywhere! We have also seen some critical changes in the search teams management. We now have an amazing manager leading that team that is making positive changes. Our CEO is also great about getting us information that is helpful for us to do our jobs and to ease and nervousness.

Cons

They are very limited as I love working here. I would say that the bonuses could be a little better. They seem lower than other places.

Pros

It's a company of many opportunities if you put the work and effort into it and you "really" want it Friendly environment The company lives by it's leadership principles Inclusive

Cons

No company is perfect, but from my own experience at Getty Images there are no cons that overweigh the pros or that can't be worked around and commission could be a little bit better for this role.
