      Pros

      Salary and working environment are very good and the company is a family company so everyone is friendly and nice

      Cons

      Just the salary could be higher at other companies obviously if they are larger than Giant Eagle is, but not much else

      Pros

      Good benefits: Payraise every 6 months, networking, paid vacation after one year, various free health assessments and events, 10% on all Giant Eagle branded groceries, easy to move up to department manager rank

      Cons

      Like any grocery store position, the job is stressful, you're expected to work bad hours, and although salary is higher than other grocery store chains, it is still equivalent to getting minimum wage

      Pros

      Most of the people are friendly. It's easy work for the most part.

      Cons

      There doesn't seem to be any room for growth. There is a lack of communication about things that should be common knowledge. In almost a year working for them I have not recieved even so much as a .25 cent raise. It is very discouraging. If I was at Walmart I'd have had at least 2 by now.
