Pros

Pretty good benefits. Full Time. 10% discount on GE products.

Cons

The pay isn’t that great for the job you do. It’s very stressful. The yearly raises are a joke. Heavy work load with almost no staff.

Pros

The pay was okay for a part time job where you didn't really have to do a lot. You'd also sometimes get a mystery shopper or a customer compliment which would get you a small bonus.

Cons

The full time employees (aka the people who had a guaranteed 48 hours/week because they had worked there for 40 years) could change their schedules on a moment's notice and us part-timers were forced to pick up any slack. You could expect to work every holiday because the full-timers wanted off - which also meant you'd be working until 10pm on NYE and then start at 6am on New Years. Management also clearly had favorites among the PT workers. Some people would always be allowed to leave early or get the few good shifts, while others would be stuck working 4 hour closing shifts all week.
