Pros

Great with hiring teens/young adults that need a first job. They work around school and other work schedules you might have. You can ask for days off and usually get them. You get Personal Holidays every month or so and you can use them whenever you want. Vacation days are given after working a year there. Register work is usually pretty easy except for WIC. Sometimes they reward you if you get a 100% on a Secret Shop (I haven't in a while so I don't know what they're doing now). It used to be a gift card for Giant.

Cons

SUMMER GAS STATION POINTS. They are pushing this really hard right now and I hope we don't keep them always or bring them back next summer. You have to highlight EVERY customer's gas station points and tell them their points. You will get written up if you don't. I never bothered before they told me they'd write me up because most customers really don't care and don't listen when you tell them anyway. If you are underage for something (alcohol or cigarettes, usually) then you have to get a key from the manager. This is a really big pain most of the time. For people under 16 they have to get a key for cigarettes; people under 21 can sell cigarettes but not alcohol. It usually takes a while to get a key (managers are busy a lot).
