      No direction Marketing is split between at least two organizations There's no CMO (and that's intentional) A lot of micromanaging Inept middle management Changing priorities Favoritism No growth opportunities (unless you want to grow in title alone with none of the accompanying skills that go with it)

      Going downhill fast

      Pros

      The benefits and pay are competitive and you'll work with other talented engineers.

      Cons

      Several layers of middle management have been added and they are running the ship aground. Expect to work long hours and outside of business hours with no support or compensation. GitHub used to regularly promote engineers for exceptional work, but that has changed. Promotions and special bonuses have been non existent over the past 2 years.
