      Strong team and product, but leadership instability persists

      Pros

      GitLab's all-remote culture is genuinely best-in-class — async-first, flexible, and not performative. The product is technically strong and the team is full of smart, mission-driven people who take collaboration seriously.

      Cons

      The Revenue org is in real turmoil right now — quota chaos, and low morale signal a company struggling to find its footing commercially. Leadership instability at the C-suite level has also created strategic whiplash.

      Pros

      Remote work, kind people. Great PTO.

      Cons

      Rats leaving off of a sinking ship. Product Management team decimated. Entire management chains empty because of attrition. Unforgiving expectations for employees. Constant executive-created emergencies in the name of AI, so the CEO can make bank when he sells us off. AI, AI, AI...which our own AI is terrible. Pay below par. Benefits mediocre

      Loads of work Cross functional teams

      Cons

      Private equity work culture in the FP&A org with much lower pay than PE The leaders are extremely clueless. Not just one leader. All of them. We had people leaving without any backup offers.
