Pros

Lots of ability to adjust your schedule as needed to allow for travel and personal obligations. Very hands on, if you find a problem you're passionate about fixing, you have the tools needed and support from leadership to fix it. Lots of very capable people to collaborate with.

Cons

The Iteration value at GitLab can mean that there are a lot of things in flux at any given time, you need to be comfortable with change. More in person time with co-workers would be great. Creating ways for more travel and in-person time would help build connections.
