Pros

Remote, pays for your internet, supportive leadership

Cons

Only 1 stale product, only way to sale is to constantly push Ultimate on customers which has been around since 2019, other industry players are catching up to GitLab which makes customer retention a serious issue now

Pros

Benefits are great, non-linear work days.

Cons

Inconsistent management strategy. Silos in the sales org. Scaling as a company in response to growth has been shaky.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’re happy with the benefits offered and our approach to non-linear working days. We are also rolling out a leadership training program called Elevate that will be available to all GitLab managers and above. You can learn more about Elevate in the Learning & Development handbook: https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/people-group/learning-and-development/elevate/

Pros

None. Working at gitlab was the worst experience I have ever had. Makes me want to puke just thinking of it.

Cons

No response from other colleagues on customer problems. Woke managers who have no idea how to manage. Company is failing and not profitable. Issues with 1000s of useless comments make it impossible to work
