Pros

- Remote work - No micromanagement - Good pay

Cons

- Management is not fully aligned with the company values - it's fully remote, but you have to be located where your contract is. - The pace the company is changing is difficult to keep up

Pros

- Intellectually challenging work - Focus on enablement and development - Customers love the product - Everyone is very approachable and willing to learn (humility is a must at GitLab) - Most people are drivers here, not passengers - Uniquely positioned in an economic downturn from consolidation and do 'more with less' point of view - Ultimate freedom in where and when you work - Work/Life balance is very respected

Cons

- Heavy administrative processes - 100% remote work can be challenging - Some processes are very immature (but you can change them as 'everyone can contribute' at GitLab)
