Pros

- Generally good benefits - Offers ESPP - Working hour flexibility - fully remote - Great co-workers - Converging towards less trust and more control

Cons

- Compensation is good, but could be better - Problems with location integration, e.g. tax filings and a health plan that doesn’t compensate Denmarks governmental health plan well - Very feature and deadline focused - Not enough dedication to paying down technical debt

Pros

I joined a few months ago and have really enjoyed it so far. I knew exactly what to expect when joining since everything about the way GitLab works is available on the public handbook. Once I joined I confirmed that they do take their values seriously and was trusted to do my work the best way that works for me. At the same time I had support along the way with any issues that could come up.

Cons

None that I can think of yet.
