Pros

All remote work, fast growing company with fantastic product, thought leader in the DevSecOps space, insanely transparent (nearly all company information is publicly available, just try a Google search!), great benefits and compensation package.

Cons

Onboarding is very self-service, information and communication is in too many channels, sometimes it can be hard to find things and sometimes you have to go to multiple places to maintain data and do work: Handbook, GitLab, Google Docs, Salesforce, Slack

The handbook and GitLab values are consistently mirrored in all of the interactions I've had via zoom meetings, which is AMAZING! From the interview conversation, coffee chats, and onboarding training. GitLab provides unlimited opportunities to reach your self development goals in every aspect. The culture is driven by our values and it saves everyone from the mundane office complaints.
