Pros

The company culture is unlike anything I have ever experienced. We are fully remote , yet the buy-in is palpable. No company is perfect but dang, it's pretty close!

Cons

Not really a con, but it is taking time to navigate working in a remote environment.

Pros

Smart, passionate co-workers. GitLab has an excellent culture consisting of a very open, transparent, and flat hierarchy. The people here love what they do and are willing to go the extra mile to help and make sure any job is done in the best way possible. Pay is good, company is growing with excellent market position, and did I mention it is work from home.

Cons

Work from home can be a negative if you aren't used to it and don't have a bit of an independent streak. The resources and help from co-workers more than makes up for it, and you don't have a hybrid environment because everyone works from home. Everyone works super hard so you have to find your own work-life balance.
