Pros

Laid back work environment that is fairly flexible depending on the department and/or team. The company hosts periodic social events for employees and thier families.

Cons

Management runs the company like it is a small business. Nothing is automated and the company is unwilling to invest in the tools employees need. At times it feels like management does not want their employees to succeed at their jobs. You must have a great political game to advance at this company.

Pros

-The company has fun celebrations (as "have fun" is one of the missions) -Company rewards for extraordinary performance. Encourages people to go above and beyond. -Company is expanding to different markets. -Very low terminations. This department almost never fires anyone. -Head of Department is very open to ideas and suggestions from team members. Very encouraging and willing to listen.

Cons

-Daily Deadlines! This is an international payment processing company so based on your portfolio, holidays may work for you or against you- usually against you because you have to make up 2 day's worth of activity for your time out of the office. -Because this is an international company, you only get 7 national holidays. -The expansion of the company adds to your workload if your team takes over the new portfolio as the company tries its best to avoid creating more positions. -Mid/High employee turnover rate

Pros

- Nice building and fantastic cafeteria - Decent benefits. 401K match of up to 4% and it vests immediately! - One day work-from-home, at least on the IT side - Reasonably family friendly

Cons

- Ancient infrastructure and technology due to complete lack of investment. Never seen email going down for days until I came here. Any it's happened more than once.... - Below average pay - Limited career opportunities - Continuous layoffs now (due to offshoring) rather than the old "May layoffs" approach - Employee attitufes can also be behind-the times (e.g. non-collaborative, this is the way I've always done it) because there are a number of long-timers that have never worked anywhere else
