Lots of potential; great if you're one of the few people with a new solution

Pros

Terrific, important product that really helps people; fantastic sales team; good benefits, and nice perks. Some great people; most care about the company's mission, and about doing the right thing.

Cons

After a long period of stress on many parts of the company, there were some drastic changes--in leadership, direction, etc. While the new leadership is smart and capable, it seems that something's been lost. Great opportunity here if you're the one who's going to come up with the next killer app, but it's unclear that management really cares what anyone else is doing (or how they feel about everything that's happened). There are a lot of very unsatisfied employees.

Pros

There are a lot of great people on the product development teams; we are making a difference in our customers' lives; we have an amazing sales team that works extremely hard and is very successful

Cons

We can't seem to maintain our focus in one area; we have a lot of ideas and are anxious to do too many things without first making sure that we're doing one or two key things well; professional development opportunities are extremely limited; salaries are very low

Pros

1) Industry. Education is an industry you will never feel bad about. English is a platform for any international business. Teaching English is just the best out of the best as a service. 2) Perspective. Can you think of one day in the near future, people will not need to learn English? 3) Renewable. The business model of GlobalEnglish is based on a renewable one. So the growth is much reliable and consistent. 4) GlobalEnglish is not too big or too small to work in. At this size, your voice does count, on the other hand, you are not the one man team.

Cons

Pain of the growth. Like very company, people come and go, lots of legacy stuffs and uncertain future road map.
