Pros

CEO is good and is driven to make Globalfoundries successful. They are starting to execute. They have finally gone public. There are still good people at GlobalFoundries.

Cons

Turnover is still high. Interesting that if it’s a positive story, why are senior managers and executives still leaving? VP of finance left about a year ago. When finance leaves, what does that say for confidence in the profitability? Senior executive of HR is not trusted by rank and file. IPO was overpriced (2X the real value of the company) but the hype around the chip shortage is causing euphoria with investors causing the stock price to fly. Not sure it’s really a long term model of success with the way they keep losing money, but at least it’s losing less money quarter to quarter. I didn’t buy the stock as the company is not a trustworthy employer.

Pros

Strong innovative company looking to continuously improve, processes, performance and it is exciting to be part of the growth. many different areas to choose to work from with many shifts to fit your preferred schedule.

Cons

some do not do well with competition for roles, and negativity can result, and if left unchecked can permeate the business to create untenable working environment.

Pros

Diversity Team outings Learning opportunities Nice supporting team mates

Cons

I don’t blame people for leaving this place Zero work life balance No one does nothing for sharing work load Lacks communications Leadership’s decision impacts employees down the chain, and they really don’t care about it. Mental peace is above Team outings, if you like mental peace stay away Thinking about going on vacation? Forget it this is not the place that even lets you take your time off in peace
