Pros

Good benefits, great people, lots of room for growth and career development

Cons

Poor effort to support technical staff with resources and long term pay improvement. Nightmarish red tape process when trying to hire. Ineffective employee rating and deficient annual raise system. Management does not live up to professed ethical and transparency standards.

Pros

Technical challenges, smart peers. Chances to collaborate with the best of the best across the globe. Truly cutting edge work, lots of need for innovation. Work life balance is decent if you set expectations.

Cons

Semiconductor mfg is a rough market. Can be overly focused on process and paperwork. There is still cross-fab conflict, but it has gotten better this year.
