      Pros

      Good benefits and pay, you can eat lunch / dinner in the cafeteria below, you get lots of experience working in the production environment. There's a gym you're allowed to use whenever you'd like, you're rewarded for maintaining good health, for saving the company money, and for driving low emissions vehicles. You're also given a company laptop and phone to use often times.

      Cons

      Long hours at times, employees are incentivized to tattle-tale on each other for safety violations.

      Pros

      Upper management now understands the market well and are willing to focus the efforts there. The company now has just enough resources to get the work done. There are many smart people who know what they are doing and can take the company to a leadership position.

      Cons

      High level guidance and business objectives are not translating effectively to engineering managers. There are many gaps between different teams and operating style lacs consistency from one site to another. Older teams are less willing to change methods of analysis and innovation is sometimes hampered due to this.
