The employees who come to work day in and day out and do the best job possible against the onslaught of incompetent management In baseball, the coach is fired when the team does not perform. Same needs to be done at Global foundries

Cons

Under performing employees promoted to management . There are many employees who find themselves without directions. Some make right choice, others do not. Not their fault. This is a managed company

Management outside of the site seems to be so extremely out of touch and treats employees like they don't matter. Too much management from chip factories that are not Foundries and not ASIC with no clue how to manage change Current Senior Manager in role for over a year with no experience and no idea what we do and cannot make decision or changes mind constantly Pay raises and bonus do not match effort or results Annual rating system is from years ago and makes people feel unimportant

Cons

Managers reward favorites, not people who do the work. Process changes are made without understanding downstream impact and rarely reversed even proven wrong
