Pros

Great job for Engineers as we never have to go into the factory. We get to spend our entire day dodging work by going to meetings. Another great hiding place is the fab itself. That place is usually a ghost-town, void of anybody but the shift equipment techs. Great job for Process Technicians and Process Engineers as well, as they are not required to spend any time in the factory. Another great thing is that even if you do absolutely nothing, they'll bring in some IBM Engineers to pick up your slack.

Cons

Don't call yourself a state of the art factory if you plan on using SiView or Xsite. It's like driving a Ferrari with a Yugo motor. Second source or start from scratch. Do something, anything, but please quit band-aiding these trash programs and continuing to tell us that they're great.

Pros

Great potential to challenge the rest of the foundry buisness

Cons

No one with experience and good business sense will work here with these kind of reviews. This many reviews indicates a trend. Anyone with a savy business sense can understand this trend. I would have loved to work here, I have many years of semi experience, but not under these conditions.

Pros

Nice office space. Some really experienced technicians/engineers to work with. Good place for initial learning about how a semiconductor fab works overall.

Cons

Clueless management repeatedly failing to keep employee morale up and meeting customer targets. Each department views its own KPI as the most important goal for the company. Presentation data often manipulated to show what executives would like to believe. Majority employees treat the job only as a 'paycheck'. Lack of an original value of proposition and adhering to it
