Pros

There are not many smart people there, so you can get away with not knowing anything, because there's no one there capable of calling you out on it.

Cons

They never tell the media any bad news, and they never tell their employees any good news. They exaggerate how good things are going to the public to generate interest for someone buying the company, while they exaggerate how bad things are going to their employees to keep expectations low for salary raises and bonuses. They're not a publicly traded company, so there's no law stopping them from doing this. Basically, Global Floundries is a vanity project for some oil billionaire who knows nothing about the semiconductor business.

The people , great cafe, this area is close to everything Opportunity to be part of such a large startup.

Cons

Stress levels can be extremely high and you can feel as though you can never get ahead. Worn out at times and can effect family life and health.

Pros

There are some really nice caring and intelligent people at GF. The cafeteria is ok some of the times( depends on whos on yhe grill )

Cons

Every other week there is a change in direction. Section Managers are not on the same page with eachother. The pay is not up to standards. The feeling of this just being a job and not really feeling as though you matter. You might matter to your immediate supervisor but when it comes to HR (who makes all the decisions) we are all just expendable pawns in their little game! No one listens to the enployees.
