Pros

Good salary (at least for Szczecin)

Cons

Projects in GL are typical outsourcing - interesting parts are done in other countries and companies - boring and tedious parts are dumped to Global Logic. Technical level of most GL employees are very low - there are "Seniors" and "Tech Leads" that barely know how to launch IDE not to mention writing few lines of code. They passed interview because they know how to talk an pretend and they are interviewed by other unskilled employees. There are no drive to actually make things done - Global Logic just wants to take money and do sloppy work to show anything to customer. Management consists of non-technical people that don't know to manage. They disturb developers all the time by asking when feature will be finished, by organizing pointless meetings that leads nowhere and by requiring employees to stay long hours when customer escalates issue. Most GL project functions in constant escalation mode. Job consists mainly of office politics and meetings, technical work is rare and in the end it often gets cancelled and code dumped because requirements weren't detrmined correctly. If you are ambitious and you want to learn something or maybe you treat your career seriously - stay away from Global Logic.
