I feel the most important asset to a company, after their people, is their reputation; what the average customer would say about you. Ethics should be #1. Unfortunately, the longer I was there, I saw good ethics being thrown right out the door. I was shocked and appalled, especially with all the lip service Globaltranz gives about their high ethics and their dedication to helping their franchises and corporate staff be sucessful. Management is completely disrespectful to employees. It is customary for Senior Management to drop F bombs on a daily basis. Fear is imposed by Senior Management to subordonites about other members of Senior Management. If your not family or part of inner circle you are treated as an outsider. "Friends and Family" is a saying and not a way to run a company. The things that makes me most angry is the disregard to human beings: both customers and certain people in the corporate office. It all boils down to numbers and profit. While I realize companies are in business to make money, the amount of profit this institution generates is mind boggling yet I saw repeat offenders get promoted while others who never got in trouble be fired. Nothing else matters...customer service, being kind to other employees, working hard, intelligent recommendations...NONE of it matters except their numbers. They talk a good game about people being their competitive advantage, but after you begin working there, you will see the truth.... YOU are disposable and if you cross the wrong person on the wrong day you are out of there. Initially you are told this is a company of high integrity however once you have been there awhile you see there is no truth to this statement. Health benefits are substandard, there is no retirement plan, no bonus plan and very few holidays.
