Pros

My co workers were great to get along with, even though I don't work there anymore, I still keep in touch with them. I worked had a flexible schedule - If I had to be out, it was no big deal as long as I let my manager know. Plus, I was able to work from home if there was bad weather/emergencies.

Cons

The work was pretty dull and repetitive. When I first saw the job description it alluded to me that I would be working with more technologies and tools that I was hoping to work with. Shortly after the job started, I saw that those tools/technologies mentioned described the department as a whole, not my job in particular. I also found a lot more people like me that described the work they were doing was boring and not satisfying at all. If you are just looking for a job and enjoy the life insurance industry, I would say that this may be the company for you. If you're looking to be creative and directly contribute to helping the company succeed, then this is not be the place for you. For those who care about the bottom line: The compensation at this company is low compared to the industry overall. Upon my exit interview, I was told that many people leave because of the pay and the fact that the benefits are too expensive. Changing departments can be tough, especially if you have a manager who doesn't want to let you go because that would mean they have to go through the trouble of finding someone else. Human Resources is particularly slow at their jobs so if you want something done with them, you have to stay on top of them to get it done.

Pros

Friendly people, supervisors are nice, catered lunch but it sales out quick and if you don't have the first lunch you're the lucky ones anybody after that it is either sold out or gone.

Cons

Don't have an allergic reaction because they will fire you. Training is draining, you sit in the same room for 2 weeks with no windows and 15 minute breaks. Applied for the $14/hr position, when hired I was then told it was really $12/hr??
