Pros
Gnostech is a company that primarily survives by obtaining government contracts where they support the Navy for various software and IT needs. Its a good place to get on somewhat interesting projects and develop software that will actually be used by the fleet. Its a good place to learn and grow your skillset where the tech stack is pretty wide and has good variety.
Cons
The upward mobility is lacking in terms of compensation and job positions. This compensation growth issue is a symptom of government contracts where contracted employees are penciled in to a specific salary growth projection. If you are an overperforming developer the compensation will have difficulty matching your value.
