Pros

I surrounded myself with good co-workers from different departments. There are driven employees who wanted to help the company. However many shared the same feelings about specific management executives including my own boss, who does not know how to lead her staff. There were some strong leaders in other departments but her group was known as the most dysfunctional.

Cons

My boss has no experience as a leader. She was rude and sucked at her job. She is just a negative human being overall. The entire company hated her because of how she treated others around her. In the many years that she worked here, she has not contributed to business and somehow she manages multiple departments. The CEO, Marc Winkelman is a horrible leader and also did not have any plans for the business. He would say racist and sexist comments in front of his employees. I have never worked with such poor management and would not allow any of my friends to apply for a position here in this company.

A badly managed company

Pros

An easy job to get, as an employee or as an "employee manager".

Cons

From the outset, there were problems. Written materials showing specific plans to build the kiosk didn't match the structural elements received. Some of the structural elements appeared new, others were old and incompatible with the build plans. The "overhead" lights in no way could be installed as pictured in the manuals; they were obviously originally part of a lighting system not intended to be installed as was required, so we simply were forced to figure out a way to make it work since our opening date was too soon to attempt to request replacements. The lighting intended for the merchandise came without the necessary wiring to make the operable. The management in Texas were difficult to deal with from the outset; people from one department have no idea who people in other departments are (departments they are forwarding calls to and from), making simple requests and questions take hours or days to receive response from the appropriate person/department. Getting paid on time has been an issue that each employee (in my case, at least) has had to take action to resolve. In my case, this took a phone call that resulted in being transferred over and over, eventually having me speak to 6 different people to finally be told that the HR department "forgot" to send the vital information to the payroll department until the night before payment was due.
