Pros

I love that I have the opportunity to learn something new every single day. What makes this role unique is being able to guide a patient through their entire visit, from check-in to rooming to X-ray. Patients often appreciate seeing that level of versatility and expertise, and it allows me to play a more meaningful role in their care. I have a consistent work pattern at locations close to home, along with the flexibility to pick up shifts across the market. I’m not limited to just one responsibility. I’m triaging, assisting providers, performing imaging, and helping maintain the overall flow of the clinic. That ability to shift quickly between roles and meet the needs of the moment makes my work both engaging and essential to the team. I also value the autonomy and growth this environment offers. There are no limits on what I can learn, and I’m trusted to do my job without micromanagement. In high-stress situations, I’m able to make a real difference, helping patients feel at ease, supporting providers in delivering efficient, compassionate care, and contributing directly to diagnosing injuries and illnesses. Combining technical skills with patient interaction makes the work especially rewarding. Unlike a traditional radiology center, where you take an image and send the patient on their way, here I get to be part of the whole story. That continuity of care is something I truly value.

Cons

Like most urgent care settings, weekends, evenings, and holidays are often required, There is ongoing pressure to maintain a fast pace of care while still ensuring accuracy, safety, and compassionate patient interactions. Seasonal surges, particularly during flu and respiratory illness seasons, significantly increase patient volume and workload. Short staffing or last‑minute call‑outs can quickly place additional strain on remaining team members.

Pros

- great pay -LOVED my manager. (I was the marketer for the sales team) -loved my teammates -made true friendships -great culture I would have stayed forever if they let me

Cons

The marketing team is SUPER dramatic. I’m talking the leaders can never get along, they have issues delegating work as they are control freaks, and they talk behind each other’s backs constantly. This company faced some growing pains and did some mass layoffs, so stability is hard, and the tiny HR department really struggled to keep up with severance and offboarding.
