Pros

Free Membership (somewhat) flexible hours Members are friendly Great for a high school student

Cons

Managers and employees are cliquey, will write you up for no reason to "weed you out" so they can fire you. No room for promotions Bad pay Inconsistent hours - one week they give you 30 hours, the next they'll give you 4. Facilities will have problems such as equipment breaking or water leaks/no air conditioner and corporate will take 3 weeks to address the issue (My gym went 4 weeks in July without air conditioner) Treat employees like they do not matter to the gym- Gold's is all about making a profit, not about treating members and employees the best way they can.

Pros

One of the pros to working at the gym is the free gym membership!!! Everyone is upbeat and nice and has small employee base.

Cons

Sometimes during the day it gets very boring. Many people do not come in during the middle of the day so you are left standing at the front desk dazing out the door.
