They constantly preach Golden Service in meetings and things like that but they just quote the website that we see everyday. Management says that the expectations is 80% and above for QA reviews, but if you get anything less than 100% you have to have a one-on-one meeting. The benefits offered at this job are the most expensive out of any other employer I have been at, and this is taking inflation into account. You are allowed up to 4 minutes each day for a bathroom break if you need it, so God forbid you have to do anything other than no. 1. The leave policy here is a joke. You get 40 hours of sick time a year and that is it. And if you do get sick after you used it and have a valid doctor's note? They don't accept it. It will be taken as unprotected time and it goes on your record as a point. If you get six points in a 6-month period they're just going to fire you. You will be abused by members in this job, especially by the older ones. They simultaneously believe we have the power to do everything over a phone call and yet have no idea how any of their online banking works, which is fine. I was always happy to help these senior members because I understand that it's a struggle, but in the event any are abusive? You are not allowed to hang up, you are not allowed to ask them to stop treating you that way, and if they leave you a one-star review because you couldn't do exactly what they wanted? Well that's just on your record so good luck. This is the most stressful job I have ever worked at and I used to work in a severely understaffed fast food restaurant.
