OK location. Decent HQ building. Free Popcorn. Chris at the security desk is amazing. There's not too many other PROs I can think of.

Cons

What a mess of a small department. My advice - DON'T DO IT. This is where all your BSA/AML hopes and dreams go to die. The management of this department is horrible. ZERO people skills and an over inflated ego beyond anything I've ever experienced. If you don't like to be MICRO MANAGED I highly suggest looking elsewhere. Upper management does not know how to make decisions nor do they or will they ever have your back. The environment is toxic and hostile and upper management has no problem "stabbing anyone in the back." It's truly a "cutthroat" environment and I mean that in the most negative way possible.

Decent benefits, esp if you or family is sick.

Cons

Stay away until management is cleaned up. Toxic manager and environment. Engineers are not treated with respect rather they are belittled. Management is dishonest and does not support their team, very untrustworthy. Very disorganized and micromanaged environment. Morale is off scale low and getting worse. Worst employee engagement score in history of company this year. Nearly everyone in IT is looking for work elsewhere, several have already left. Staff treated as though they are out to steal or break whatever they can. Awful experience.

My team and internal hiring managers I supported for the last 3 years were amazing.

Cons

Management hired a true bully who threatened me in the only two conversations we have had since started 3 months ago. She needed me to resign so she could hire a past employee who worked for her at another company. I had a solid reputation at G1 and the HR department did not stand behind me after 3 years of service and a perfect employee record. HR states they are current on their training and will not tolerate a hostile work environment but they don't practice what they preach.
