Pros

You truly feel like the work you are doing MATTERS. You aren't a number at Good Apple. You don't have to campaign to be noticed. Your work, your time, your ideas - they all matter to this company.

Cons

My glass is always half full. No cons.

Pros

Beautiful office in central location, annual company retreat at exotic resorts, free nespresso and other beverage machines, frequent lunch and learns

Cons

Management bullies. No real HR department ... Chief Happiness Officer? Not so much.

Lack leaders, no work/life balance

Pros

A great place to work in the beginning. Both the Founder and Co-Founder are amazing! They really care about you and are true leaders.

Cons

Good Apple lacks capable leaders. Seems to be luck of the draw with some teams having terrific leaders and other teams having leaders chosen or promoted for no good reason. HR seems incapable of making an impact even though they recognize the problems. Some managers are incredibly incapable and clueless. HR is totally oblivious to them and allows abuse of employees by these managers. For example, the CFO speak to most and especially her subordinate in a condescending tone and it's not right. The older veterans of the company act like they own the company, some of them come to work whenever they want. For some people, there's no room for advancement and you could be there for years without even getting a raise. At the end, there's really no work and life balance, because there is too much work to be done and not enough people to do it so you end up skipping your break and staying late for no thanks or recognition.
