Pros

lots of customers to interact with, employee discount is 20%

Cons

rules are very strict, customers always trash the store, most of the mgmt team cannot be trusted with any private, one employee has been with the store for 3 yrs and only earns $8.57 an hour, Lead Associates get $9.00 an hour, sales floor employees are "not guaranteed" a break as written in the Employee Handbook

Pros

The co-workers I've met through this job will be life long friends....great people! That's the only positive.

Cons

Management is petty with their rules. Example: No socializing, more working less talking. Employees are over worked and unappreciated. Treated like children by management, it's all very degrading. And god forbid you're good at your job, they'll expect the world from you while the lazy employees stand around and do nothing or the bare minimum to get by while you're expected to help them out. And don't believe it's a charitable organization or everything they do is for "the mission". It's a big money hungry corporation just like the rest.
