Rewarding, diverse work

Pros

Working with participants and the diverse cultures among staff members provides a very rewarding and fulfilling work experience. Since items are donated, no two products are the same and no two work days are really the same.

Cons

Corporate and management are constantly pushing for a greater number of items to be stocked and sold, regardless of how understaffed the store may be. Management makes employees feel disposable due to the pressure placed on them by corporate.

Pros

Goodwill is a great company to work for. They are very respecful of individual differences and accomodating to those with special needs. They offer decent pay and great people to work for!!! I am very proud to work there!

Cons

You work long and hard hours with very little time off in comparison to other jobs in education, but the working environment is much better than most jobs in education.
