Pros

Goodwill offers a chace for many people to work that most employers don't. Gret schedule and hours for a management position. Most weeks are 50 hours a week. No crazy hours.

Cons

Very low pay. Most employees are only paid minium wage and they wounder why there is high turnover. Goodwill is a stepping stone opportunity.

Pros

Goodwill provides an excellent platform to grow experience within your position. Goodwill expresses values and mission extensively and encourages alignment of employees with vision.

Cons

There are a lot of politics in non-profit and can be difficult to navigate at times considering ones level of position strength. In addition, silo working styles are very evident.

Pros

It is nice to work for a non-profit and be able to help people learn job skills. They can be flexible if you need a day off for personal reasons. Looking at all the odd things people donate is an added bonus. Their medical benefits are reasonable.

Cons

The pay scale is way below normal retail management pay scales.
