Pros

None, pay is poor for expected work. Mgmt is more interested in results than people and are extremely threatening to store mgmt.

Cons

Meet quotas or else, mgmt is in name only, you work twice as hard and never get positive, actionable feedback until they are writing you up for not meeting quotas

Pros

This experience helped me form necessary work boundaries, which as a store manager at this company you are forced to compromise in an effort to maximize sales volume and keep corporate out of your store.

Cons

Too many to list here. In summary: This company hides behind the facade of “non profit charity” when in reality it is driven by greed, toxic capitalism, oppressive ideals, exploitation/unethical treatment of retail staff and management for low wages, solely for corporate financial gain. Racism and misogyny runs rampant at corporate level

Pros

Pay - Employment Specialist $20 Hours -7:30 - 4:30 - no overtime

Cons

Management is TERRIBLE....Unprofessional, Micro-Management The turn-over rate is horrific. They are blind to the fact that people leave because they are unprofessional, unorganized, and not good leaders. In the short period of time, I was employed I have seen many people come and go. The longest someone worked in the Goodwill Works Program was 4 years. Everyone else no longer than 1yr, and that probably was because they had to have time to find new employment. This is a terrible place to work. If you do decide to interview for the job, please pay attention to everything that is being said and how it is coming across. If it looks like a duck, walk like a duck and quack like a duck...It's a duck. Please run as far away as possible.
