Decent remote work

Pros

Fully remote work is the biggest reason why I enjoy working at Goodwin. However, my team is small and the communication with other teams and partners is not great. Also, the internal groups meant to support employees consists of people who either don’t know what they’re doing or don’t want to be helpful. Goodwin does offer some great perks and resources, though, like office services, law clerks, and gifts and goodies. But there is plenty to be improved.

Cons

Downsides, mainly: 1. Feeling like you are replaceable 2. Appreciation isn’t consistent. Some employees are very appreciative and some are downright rude 3. In-person events for non-attorneys lacking severely 4. Too much turnover. Granted this is found in all big law firms 5. Huge discrepancy in salary among similar levels.
