      -You get to travel across the world -Good brand for resume -Great Job security -Good benefits -Good job if you have family here and want to coast to retirement -Work life balance

      Cons

      -Engineers spend most time reimventing the wheel due to poor management decisions -Promotions hardly occur as objective is unclear and are doing the same work from when we started -Must relocate to a plant if you want to get noticed -Too many managers -In Akron -Management hops on to a unpractical and new technology just to show we are "innovative" and engineers are forced to incorporate it -Depending on team and projects, business trip can be lengthy and frequent

      Pros

      Base pay is decent; benefits offerings are expensive and outdated. Most companies offer bonus but here you have to be a Director to get a bonus.

      Cons

      Poorly organized; talk with little action; good old boys club; stuck in a 20 year time warp; resists change and innovative thinking; command and control; very political and lots of nepotism. HR is the worst offender lead by unethical order takers.
