Pros
Gopuff is an enjoyable job at the warehouse level on site. The GMs have a lot of control and can become a tight group with a good atmosphere at times.
Cons
Most of these reviews on here I would not vouch for myself as ***we were told to leave reviews and have our team leave reviews as well*** The use and abuse with extremely high expectations and little help is a real problem. Warehouses with no AC or sufficient basic needs for employees to have a healthy work environment were not at the top of the list. God forbid we went over our “max delivery time” threshold for a night when the forecasting of orders was off by 75% and were understaffed. Overall I’d say the communication and sudden “pivots” as they would like to call them are the worst. One week a certain statistic is the most important thing in the world and top priority and then 3 weeks later they could care less and move on to the next hot metric they want to improve. And if you say anything about it, they respond with “you should own your business, and small pivots like this for you and your team should be seamless as a good leader.” And yes, they may be quick to promote you (from your underpaid OPS position) and want you to move across the country on your own dime completely. They might put you up in a crappy hotel for awhile if your lucky, but that will be a headache too. They are a startup and will say they’re “working out the kinks” just be wary of what your getting yourself into and make sure to get everything in writing that is promised to you, or you probably won’t get it.
